The Otherside Orchestra (JUNK Voter's Choice!)
At only a little over a year old, The Otherside Orchestra has been making waves in the local music industry with their electronic and rock sound. They've gone through a couple of line-up changes since then and now, but that has only been strengthening the band's sound. The band released their debut album, Electromancetacy, late last year, which sealed their position as one of the local bands to watch out for. If the band had to be summed up in one sentence, it'd be "Music meant to be played for the dance floor." More info at myspace.com/theothersideorchestra

Komplot (JUNK Voter's Choice!)
Komplot take rock & roll, psychedelic funk, 70s groove, disco punk, metal and jazz; mix them up together and create a dance floor friendly, rock sound. Comprising Zac, Amrud, Haekal, Enche and Ahmad Jeffny;, the quintet lives by the motto, "Disko Tanpa Risiko," which basically means that they want their audiences to move their body to the beats, and nothing more. These days, the band is actively playing around gigs in the city, and making music that's fit to be played in huge venues. Whether playing hard rocking songs like "Konflik Metropolis" or ballads like "Yes We Are Here," Komplot's mission is to set out to impress listeners.
