PARTICIPATE

Once again, Urbanscapes 2009 will be a community-powered, user-generated festival. Whether it's through participation through curation of content (vote for your preferred music acts or film screenings), creation of content (ie: Urbanscapes 2009 T-shirt design promo), user performances (open mic stages), on-ground collaborations and partnerships or even plain simple shopping at the marketplace, you can be part of the Urbanscapes 2009 experience and contribute towards making the overall event a success!

1) Music

You get to vote for the acts you wanna see at Urbanscapes 2009! Once again, the music at Urbanscapes will be powered by Junk and they have arranged special "Junk Voter's Choice" slots - you get to determine who gets to play in those slots!

Are you a budding performer? Are you just looking for a stage to shine? Urbanscapes 2009 will once again feature Open Mic stages. Find out how you can take part.

2) Marketplace

The Urbanscapes marketplace was a hotspot (literally) at last year's Urbanscapes. This year, we're offering even more spots for vendors to set up shop at Urbanscapes 2009. Find out how you can be involved.

3) Art

Have your art work displayed at Urbanscapes 2009 by taking part in the Mini-Art project! We are looking for all kinds of art from pop art to everything in between so if you've got art work to spare, send it in!

4) Film

You get to determine which of KLue's picks for feature-length films get screened at the Urbanscapes 2009 screenings. Click here to find out what's up for voting.

5) Photography

Once again, Urbanscapes will feature the 24 Hour KL photgraphy project. Want your photo to be part of the 24 Hour KL exhibition at Urbanscapes? Send us your snapshots of oft-unseen scenes around KL and we'll feature a gallery at Urbanscapes 2009. More details about it here.
