Urbanscapes is happening tomorrow people!!
And there will be tons of things happening throughout the day - TONS!
We wanna keep you guys updated with interesting happenings at Urbanscapes as they unfold - from a band doing crazy crowdsurfing stunts, freebies being handed out by vendors or even some weirdo walking around in strange costumes, we'll be letting you know via our Pacmee channel.
Join the group and you'll also be in the loop for exclusive giveaways that will be happening throughout the day!
It sure feels surreal looking at the countdown clock above with the hours ticking down for Urbanscapes. It's been a crazy ride up to now and we've really hoping to put on a great show for you tomorrow and we hope you guys have a blast at Urbanscapes!

Whoa! Urbanscapes is just 2 days away!!!
We hope you're as excited as we are and we wanna make sure you guys find your way there easily. We've updated our map to KLPAC with some landmarks for you to look out for.
We strongly encourage you to use public transport or carpool. Hop on the shuttle bus to get to KLPAC from the Sentul Star LRT station (bus schedules here).
Also, we've come up with a handy Urbanscapes "Do's" guide up there so have a look and get ready to party hearty this Saturday! Be there early okay? The early bird catches all the.. err.. promos. Hohoho!
Lastly, the promo for pre-sale tickets (RM25) ends tomorrow so make sure you grab them while you can! Get them at the KLPAC / Actors Studio BSC box-offices.

This just in! Shuttle buses will be available at Urbanscapes! Details are as follows:
Sentul Star LRT Station - KLPAC (return)
Operating hours: 11.30am - 12mn
Frequency: Every 30 mins
Other options for public transport include KTM Komuter (Sentul Station) as well as the Rapid KL / Star LRT (Sentul Station) circuit. Find out how to get to KLPAC here.
We're all buzzing right now cos Urbanscapes is right around the corner!
For those of you who intend to take public transport to KLPAC - worry not! We'll be arranging shuttle bus services on the event day. More details coming very, very soon!

We've also put up an Urbanscapes event map to help you navigate your way around KLPAC!

Tune in to Capital FM 88.9 tonight to get some exclusive insights into Urbanscapes!
From 10pm-1am, DJs Gabriel and Joey G will be hosting "Turn It Up" with DJ Van (who will also be spinning at Urbanscapes!) taking over the airwaves between 12-1am during a segment called "In The Mix". In between, they'll be letting you in on what to expect at Urbanscapes.
Also, Shanon Shah and Jo Kukathas of FIRSTWoRKS / Instant Café Theatre will be on NTV 7's Breakfast Show tomorrow, talking about "Air Con" - their latest play which debuts in July but will be previewed at Urbanscapes!

Just a friendly reminder! Tomorrow (13 June) is the deadline for Open Mic registration and submission of film/video works. Voting for bands will also close on the 13th so make sure you vote while you can!
We're also stoked cos we've been getting tons of great pix for the 24 Hour KL Photo Project (check out some of the submissions here) and thus, we're extending the submissions for Urbanscapes to 16 June!
Send in your pics and it might just end up on the 24 Hour KL Gallery at Urbanscapes (you get free tickets too if your photos are selected). But not to worry, 24 Hour KL will be an ongoing project that will extend even beyond Urbanscapes.

Urbanscapes is about 3 weeks away and we're looking forward to making it a blast! We've got an exciting and exhaustive group of partners, performers and participants on board with us - we'll be releasing the confirmed schedule and programme very, very soon indeed!
Also, voting for bands will close next week, so if you wanna see your favourite bands at Urbanscapes, make sure you vote!

The Open Mic slots at Urbanscapes are still up for grabs! We know there are loads of budding songwriters out there who just want a chance to strut their stuff. Sign up for the Open Mic and showcase your songs at Urbanscapes!
Also, we've mentioned 24 Hour KL collaborative photo project that aims to capture the unseen side of KL around-the-clock. We've been getting some pretty interesting submissions that will be exhibited as part of the 24 Hour KL Gallery at Urbanscapes. The Marketplace is fully booked!
We're bummed to announce that we can no longer accept participants for the Urbanscapes Marketplace due to overwhelming response.
For anyone else keen in taking part, thanks for your interest and support but we will not be able to accommodate any more stalls although we look forward to having you on-board for the next Urbanscapes! But this time around you can look forward to a marketplace bustling with close to 70 stalls of all varieties.
Check in real soon as we will be listing out all the confirmed participants and partners of Urbanscapes 2008!

In the pipeline for Urbanscapes 2008: the 24HourKL photo project by KLue.
24HourKL is a collaborative photo project that invites photographers to snap shots of hidden scenes around KL set at every hour of the day. 24 shots for the 24 hours of a day depicting the undiscovered and underexposed side of life in KL. What happens at 1pm, 3pm or 4am in the morning? We want YOU to tell us!
Through this, we hope to capture the full spectrum of secret life in the city through a full 24-hour day. Photos that are submitted to KLue have a chance to be featured at the 24HourKL Photo Exhibition at Urbanscapes itself.
