What is Urbanscapes?
Urbanscapes is the first and only all-day “user-generated” creative arts festival. Urbanscapes aims to bring together communities and participants from the fields of music, arts, lifestyle, film under a single banner to showcase the best of the local scene.

Is Urbanscapes a two-day event?
No, Urbanscapes is only a ONE-day event. It runs from 12pm to 12am.

Is Urbanscapes free?
No, Urbanscapes is not a free festival. You will need a ticket if you want to access the festival grounds.

How do I get tickets?
Please stay tuned we will be releasing the ticketing information shortly.

Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, tickets will be on sale for RM 40 at the door.

Where will Urbanscapes be held this year and how do I get there?
The venue for Urbanscapes is at Padang Astaka in PJ. Click here for the map to the venue.

Is there parking at Urbanscapes?
There is very limited parking in the vincinity, so we strongly urge you to carpool or take public transportation. 

Will there be shuttle buses to the venue? 
There won't be shuttle buses this year, as Padang Astaka is very close to many bus lines and the LRT. Urbanscapes is just a short walk from the Asia Jaya LRT station and many bus stops.


How do I apply to be a participant in the Urbanscapes programme?
Applicaions to become vendors, performers and artistes for Urbanscapes can be directed to vendors@urbanscapes.com.my. For more information, read our blog post here.

Can I still perform at Urbanscapes? 
We welcome small, impromptu performances - if you can find a space on the day itself - go ahead and express yourself! 

How do I apply to be a volunteer for Urbanscapes?
We're currently accepting internships (full-time) for Urbanscapes. These internships are from now till July 31st. Drop us a note at info@urbanscapes.com.my if you're interested.

Is Urbanscapes indoors?
Urbanscapes takes place on the entire grounds of Padang Astaka in PJ. There entire area is outdoors but don't worry, it will be transformed into a wonderland.

Will it be hot?
The Malaysian weather is unpredictable. In our experience it is generally hot from 12pm to 3pm. We recommend comfortable, breathable clothing, sunblock, fan, hats and drink plenty of water. 

Is there food at Urbanscapes? 

Yes, there will be food and drink vendors at Urbanscapes. 

Is there an ATM at Padang Astaka?

No, there are no ATMs at Padang Astaka. The nearest ATMs will be in Section 14, a 15-min walk away. 

Can I bring my camera to Urbanscapes?
Yes! Urbanscapes welcomes all budding photographers. You will be allowed to take pictures at all Urbanscapes areas.
